Human Rights
shouldn’t
be optional.

Ever.

Access to water and food, safe shelter, education, a decent income and more help us to develop into healthy, happy people.

But access to life essentials, freedom of movement and access to health care are still not a guarantee for many people living on this planet.

Ohana Coffee, Germany

Connecting coffee growers to coffee lovers just might be the key to shaking up the half-a-trillion dollar global coffee industry.

Ohana means ‘family’ and this refers to Ohana’s goal to take care of everybody in the supply chain. Ohana cuts out ‘middle man’ and makes coffee growers visible to those who enjoy their produce.

Also, Ohana invites us to see coffee as a moment of relaxation as opposed to something that drags us through our working day.

“Precarious Work”, Mondiaal FNV

The number of precarious workers is growing worldwide, how might these people be protected?

“The Dutch asylum procedure”, Vluchtelingenwerk, Netherlands ~9,5min

Making sure people understand the Dutch asylum procedure

Vluchtelingenwerk is an NGO that works with the Dutch government to make sure that refugees are treated well. The Dutch asylum procedure is scary for those who don’t speak the Dutch language. That’s why this film I wrote and directed was released in Armenian, Dari, Farsi, Somali, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Dutch, Russian and Tigrinya.
