Frank Bold: Purpose of the Corporation
We take it for granted today that shareholders get a big say in how a business operates and they receive large returns on their investments.
However, just a few decades ago, this was very different and the new status quo isn’t necessarily the best for people, society and the companies themselves.
For the project “Purpose of the Corporation” I created a short animation and a one-pager.

Douwe was adept at briefly recounting the history of public companies and translating complex corporate governance concepts into a narrative that is accessible to a non-expert audience.
