Wetlands International wanted to explain their highly ambitious Sponge Area project in a fun, playful and simple way, so I took the classic children’s cartoon Nils Holgerssons as an inpiration for the dream a young girl has just after she learns about floods in Europe.

The film was produced in English, Spanish and German.
